Okay so this is actually good news. The fact that Instagram no longer cares if you have 1,000 followers or 1 million.
(( I’ll give you a moment to let out a sigh of relief. ))
Bc yeah, the numbers that used to dictate our online worthiness just lost a whole lotta power.
So what exactly matters now?
How long someone watches your content
If your content gets shared
Whether you can stop the scroll in the first 3 seconds
This is huge bc no longer do follower counts gatekeep your reach when it comes to IG pushing out your content to the explore page. The content itself is the algorithm’s new darling. But with that freedom comes a different kind of responsibility… ie: If you’re still creating content only for your existing audience, you’re falling behind….WAY WAY WAY behind.
Here’s the playbook that’s working right now:
Use tools like ManyChat to capture leads straight from your posts
Open with a BOLD, clear hook bc the first 3 seconds make or break your content
Shift your mindset from “posting for engagement” to “posting for opportunity”
Bc if you’re a creator then I don’t need to tell you that “likes” don’t pay the bills, but attention + action do ;)
